    Q: – Who can sell to the Metro District?
    A: – Any responsible firm that can supply quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices, while meeting the Metro District’s minimum specifications and delivery requirements, is eligible to sell to the District.

    Q: – What types of products and services does the Metro District purchase?
    A: – The Metro District purchases a wide variety of equipment, materials and services. Additional information is available at “Doing Business with the Metro District.”

    Q: - How do I get on your bid list?
    A: – Contact Purchasing Officer Marsha Casteel or Senior Buyer Karen Dowis at 303-286-3000.

    Q: – Does the Metro District have a supplier diversity program?
    A: – Yes. The Metro District is committed to a business process that ensures diverse participation in an open and fair purchasing environment.

    Q: – Does my company have to be a certified DBE to do business with the Metro District as a DBE Firm?
    A: – No. The Metro District does not require firms to be certified to be considered a DBE business. The District does not use preferences or set-asides to reach specific levels of participation by DBE firms.

    Q: - Does the Metro District have an Equal Opportunity program?
    A: – Yes. The Metro District is committed to fostering and maintaining an environment of equal oppurtunity for all firms without regard to race, religion, age, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, veteran status or physical limitations. In addition, the Metro District requires that all vendors, contractors, and subcontractors doing business with the Metro District agree not to discriminate against employees or other businesses for any of the reasons listed above.

    Q: – Does the Metro District allow salespersons to market their products and services to its buyers via office visits?
    A: – Yes. However, to ensure efficient operation of the procurement operation, visits are by appointment only. Call 303-286-3000 to arrange an appointment.
