Metro District Infrastructure Plans
In the next 10 years, the Metro District will spend almost a billion dollars to upgrade, rehabilitate, and expand our wastewater infrastructure.
A $67 million upgrade and rehabilitation project is under construction now in the oldest portion of the Robert W. Hite Treatment Facility.
The majority of the money the Metro District will spend for the next several years is for treatment facilities.
The goal of this planned construction effort is to make sure Metro can always meet customer service and regulatory requirements.
