The Metro District's EMS for Biosolids is made up of Elements that reflect the principles and best management practices of the National Biosolids Partnership. The EMS for Biosolids manual identifies standard procedures and steps to continually improve biosolids management effectiveness of operational performance, regulatory compliance, and public participation. It identifies and provides a formal, systematic approach to monitor, measure, and improve the Metro District's biosolids management activities.
